Your experience begins with a phone call. If we have gotten this far, then we know that you like our work. The next step is to determine if we are a good fit. Wedding planning is a full-contact sport. To do this properly, we need to be a team. You choose us and we choose you back. From that moment on, we are on your team and by your side. Your job is to dream. Our job is to get to know you so that we can create. As artists and designers, we see a world that does not yet exist. As logistical experts, our planners are here to walk you and the team through the process of bringing that world to life. We become the custodian of your future memories. The work we will do together is very important. It only works if we get to know one another on a deeply personal level. To begin, we spend quite a bit of time getting to know one another. Whether in person, over lunch, or online via Instagram and/or via Zoom, nothing happens until we have a sense of who you are as separate individuals and as a couple. This is about storytelling your past, your present, and your future. It may seem silly or even a little trite, but in order for us to do our best work, we have to become friends. Next, we will begin to talk through the broad strokes of your experience. What do you want your wedding to look like, to feel like? We start with broad, sweeping gestures as we discuss seasonality, the time of day, and possible locations. Then, we apply a sensory approach as we begin to explore the colors, textures, sounds, and smells that you want to be featured. Slowly, these elements come together to create an immersive experience that can only be described as utterly “you.” The environment we create together is the most important thing. We live in a visual society; What your space looks like matters. Atmosphere is about the elements people will see, hear, touch and taste. These things matter! Therefore, event design is where we will start and where we will spend the bulk of our time. While we will look to the world for inspiration, we specialize in things that have not been done before. We, as planners, refuse to do the same event twice, which makes it impossible for us to show you a photo of what your wedding will look like. Instead, we will work with moodboards, sketches, renderings, and narratives. To enhance your surprise and delight, some elements will be kept a secret, unseen until they are unveiled to you! Are you feeling a bit scared or unsure? We understand! But it is exciting, isn’t it? Yes, there is a risk in being so vulnerable while creating something that has never existed before. Yet, we wholly believe that this is where the magic begins. It is in these moments that you allow yourself to be delighted and surprised. And isn’t that the point? We ask you to trust the process and to trust us. Our partners will bring together the absolute finest tables, chairs, and florals. We will set the mood with lighting and texture. Our catering partners, sommeliers, and mixologists will work together to build a progressive dining experience. The entertainers bring energy and excitement. All of these moving parts come together to establish the whole. Working in unison, each of these elements creates the feeling of coming home and for one night, the world is a perfect place. |

For every event that I plan, nothing is overlooked or cookie cutter, every aspect is unique and tailored to bring out a couple’s personality and tell their love story. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the look on my client’s face when they walk into their venue and see that their vision has come alive. I have been in the event planning industry for more than ten years. From major corporate events, to weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, milestones, and more, I have seen it all. I understand how overwhelming the process can be and I strive to make the process as client-friendly and stress free as possible for my clients. |
